Students should familiarize themselves with and review our website for major requirements, degree checks, the tentative course list and other essential information regarding the major and department. This information pertains to your Anthropology major requirements only. Your college will assist you with general education and specific college requirements. Information about the Anthropology majors are also outlined in the UCSD General Catalog.
All courses taken at community college are articulated as lower division. There are no lower division course requirements for the Archaeology and Sociocultural majors. Biological Anthropology has only one lower division course required which is ANTH 2: Human Origins.
Check assist.org, the official source for articulation and student transfer information, to see which of your lower division transfer courses are equivalent to ANTH 2.
