Anthropology Club

Anthro Club

The Anthropology Club at UC San Diego is a central hub for all students who are interested in anthropology to meet, collaborate, share ideas, and access campus resources. Our core pillars are education, resource sharing, and department engagement. Our main goal is to promote the Anthropology major, create social fraternity, and establish networks with scholars and institutions. Our meeting topics range from anthropological discussions and faculty/graduate student panels to social events.

While we meet and collaborate as a group, ambassadors from each of the undergraduate subfields (Archaeology, Biology, Sociocultural, and Climate Change/Human Solutions) also actively serve as bridges between the students and faculty in their respective subfields. Additionally, STEM and Humanities ambassadors continually work to demonstrate the benefits of bringing anthropology into other fields.
