Research
Cassidy Tomlinson joined the Anthropology Department in 2020 after receiving her B.A. in Anthropology with a concentration in Disasters, Displacement, and Human Rights from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville in 2019. She is a first-year PhD student studying with Dr. Amy Non.
Cassidy’s research interests lie in the fields of biological anthropology, more specifically anthropological genetics. She is broadly interested in researching the relationship between policy and health disparities, embodiment, and epigenetics.
