Melina Economou

Melina Economou received her B.Sc. from the University of Toronto and her MA from the department of Anthropology at UC San Diego. She is currently a PhD candidate working with Dr. Saiba Varma and Dr. Bonnie Kaiser.  

Research Interests: well-being; whole person care; relational support networks; illness trajectory and prognosis; biomedicine and healthcare; immigration; dignity and end of life care.
